Being Abundantly Free

Second Corinthians 3:17 b says, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Then why do so many Christians walk around in bondage? I believe the answer is simple. Many Christians don’t walk in the Spirit. We have the Holy Spirit in our hearts and yet we don’t tap into His power. according to Ephesians 1:18-19, His incomparably great power is available to those who believe. However, we choose instead to do things our own way, therefore missing out on the things that God has for us. Freedom is one of those things.

What holds you in bondage? Is it guilt? Is it your past? Worry? Pride? Insecurity? We all have something in our lives that tries to hold us captive. It is time to say NO MORE! Let’s ask the Lord to give us freedom.

What steps do you need to take to receive the freedom that Christ offers?

Step 1. Know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. http://www.billygraham.org/specialsections/steps-to-peace/steps-to-peace.asp

Step 2. Continue to build your relationship with Him. Join a Bible believing church and spend time daily with God studying His Word.

Step 3. Obey! Simply do the things He reveals for you to do.

God bless your journey with freedom!
