WHEW! What a beginning to a New Year!

So 2010 ended with Coleman having the flu and 2011 began with Grace having a different type of flu. The one good thing is the doctor said Grace didn’t catch it from her brother. That made me feel good about my wild rampage of cleaning. It was going to be a great second week of January until the “Winter Blizzard” hit. All I could think was “YIKES! I’m so behind on everything.” But even in all this God has a plan.

I got  to spend precious time with my kids who are growing up way too fast. We enjoyed movies, games, and multiple cups of hot cocoa. They even did some math, reading, and writing. Hayden took a day off and we completed some projects around the house. It turned out to be a great week.

I hope your New Year has gotten off to a good start. A way to guarantee a great year is to get alone with the Lord and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Stand back and be amazed. Ladies feel free to check out the Bible Study on Jonah starting on Thursday, January 27 (10 a.m.) at Pitts Baptist Church, Concord, NC.
