Family Blessings

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday last night. I don’t think my house has ever been fully of so many jovial, truly happy people in a very long time. Eleven adults, who all know and love the Lord, plus seven excited children make for a good time of old stories, jokes, and laughter. Throw in some chocolate cake and you have a truly tremendous time. However, this morning was a slightly different story. Some how the joy and laughter quickly turned to tears and hurt feelings. It got me wondering what I could do to add more joy to family. Here’s my list? What’s yours?

1. Laugh more

2. Don’t take myself, or anything else for that matter, so seriously

3. Stop and play

4. Let them eat more cake! Then play tag.

I hope God blesses your home with laughter and lots of love!
