Too often we live our lives asking, “What’s next?” Your purpose in life is now. God will reveal what is next as it gets to be time to move forward. Think of Moses. He tried to help his people and ended up killing a man. Then he ran away and ended up spending many years in Midian before God called him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses had lived as the Pharoah’s grandchild then found himself herding sheep. There had to have been moments when Moses asked, “What’s next?” Yet, God wanted Moses to learn lessons right where he was. His life had purpose in herding sheep. If right now you are questioning God, I want to encourage you to start praising Him. Make a list of all the good things he has done. Through praise comes peace and that is what we are really seeking when we ask “What’s next?”
