“Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me.” Psalm 66:20
I feel like the Psalmist is more eloquently praising God for a prayer being answered the way he had hoped. If I am honest that is exactly how I felt when I heard the words, “As far as we know you are cancer free.” The nurse went on to say focus on these two words, “Cancer Free.” It is going to take some time for those words to sink in. I am rejoicing in the good news and still begging God to do the same for others. I still face radiation and I am still experiencing a few complications from chemo yet, I am healed and I praise God for it. I cannot say “Thank you, Jesus!” enough.
I am grateful for the lessons he has taught me thus far through this journey. The top three are:
1. God is the great, big God. He is able to handle all of my problems while simultaneously handling the rest of the world’s too. If only we would turn to Him. Jeremiah 33:3
2. God’s mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:23
3. We are meant to do life together. Hebrews 10:24-25
I want to thank you for your prayers and encouragement. I hope you will continue to follow my blog as the road curves and life and learning goes forward. I want to follow Christ and be Abundantly His! I hope you will join me.
