I am full and overflowing with thankfulness to the Lord today. The doctors said that my PET SCAN was “clear and normal”. No cancer was showing on the scan. That is the best news a cancer patient can hear. I am so grateful to the Lord for His provision and His loving kindness that He has poured out on me and my family. I am having a hard time believing it quite frankly. The Lord has been gracious through this whole process. I am amazed at his love.

Read Psalm 118 when you get a chance. I have read these verses over and over during the last five months. I’m including the verses that have blessed me the most. I pray they will bless you and help you deal with whatever you are going through.

Psalm 118:1-9″Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let Israel say “His love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say; “His love endures forever.” Let those who fear the LORD say; “His love endures forever. In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. It is  better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.”

Psalm 118:17-18 “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done. The LORD has chastened me severely but he has not given me over to death.”

Psalm 118:28-29 “You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

I pray he will forgive me when I fail Him. I praise Him for his love and for second chances to live for him. I pray I will not waste a single moment that He gives.

Thank you for your prayers and please continue to keep us in your prayers. Most likely, I will have radiation treatments later this month, but will hopefully finish those before Christmas. I am looking forward to closing this chapter on cancer and moving forward to serve the Lord in whatever way possible. Thanks for celebrating His enduring love with me today.
